I did this Illustration as a comission. The person wanted his Charackter from the roleplay game 'The Black Eye' painted. They were really kind in letting me try out something new and were up to the idea of having it as a traditional painting.

Although I mainly paint digital, I recently discovered my love for oil painting and with the rise of AI art I thought this could also be something special for someone else. I thought it is something diffrent to hold a painting in your hands and seeing the brushstrokes, knowing this is one of a kind. The painting process is also something else. It feels good to not be in control of the painting all the time. It feels like the painting is unfolding itself infront of me, like it has a life of its own.
